GCIC attend the UN's annual dinner party


On December 9, 2022, the United Nations Correspondents Association Dinner was successfully held in Manhattan, New York. About 100 people, including UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, UN officials, diplomatic envoys, resident journalists and representatives from all walks of life, attended the annual banquet. As a major sponsor, the introduction of the Global Climate Innovation Centre appeared in the United Nations New Year's Dinner brochure of the highest level, which attracted the attention of the United Nations Secretary-General Mr. Guterres.

Before the dinner party, few people arrived at the dinner party venue, which was somewhat empty and the service staff were busy arranging the venue.  At 6:30 p.m., cocktail reception opens. At 8:00 p.m., dinner and program officially begins . These are the process introduction and guest list of the United Nations dinner last night. This list includes the names and titles of the guests, the main stars, the award winners, etc. During the night, the UN Press Association presented a series of awards, including an award for US actress and producer Kate Hudson, who won the UNCA Global Citizen Award in 2022 and was named a UN World Food Programme Goodwill Ambassador.

 


The 2022 UN Ambassador's ball and dinner party was successfully held on 10 December, with the attendance of Ms. Res, the Under-Secretary-General, Ms. Amina Mohamed and others. The dinner scene was decorated with flowers, and the layout was prosperous and exquisite . The banquet was lively and accompanied by gentle music, which unconsciously enhanced the friendly exchanges, increased the understanding between different regional cultures, and established the bond of peace .
