Public Benifit +” Mobius Cultural Festival

From December 10 to December 11, 2022, Mobius Cultural Festival will be co-held by GCIC in Huadu District, Guangzhou, China. It aims at creating a trendy charity event and making sustainability more popular among Millennials. To achieve this, public benefit activities will be held, and sustainable material products will be used throughout the festival.

During the festival, flea markets will be held for people to sell and exchange second-hand goods with the aim of reducing waste and advocating recycling.

Co-branded with the “Vegetable Project”, the festival encourage participants to buy books featuring vegetables.  10% of all proceeds will be donated to provide nutritious meals for children in underdeveloped areas.

In cooperation with sustainable brands including Hohii Goods and NANOxARCH, upcycling workshops and DIY activities such as creating eco-friendly bags will be hosted to motivate participants to reuse products whenever possible.

There will also be a hiking and mountain cleaning activity. All steps will be donated to a work-out APP to reduce carbon emissions.

GCIC is planning to hold more public welfare activities like this to spread the idea of sustainability and promote off-line events to be more environmental friendly.
