On October 17, 2022, GCIC attended the Stanford University Precourt Institute of Energy’s weekly Energy Seminar remotely. This week, the guest speaker was Sarah Kearney, founder and executive director of Prime Coalition, a nonprofit organization working with philanthropists, other organizations, and individuals to support sustainable, effective, and scalable solutions to climate change. Prime Coalition programs are designed to catalyze, deepen, or accelerate solutions aiming to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Prime Coalition’s objectives, methods, and solutions dovetail closely with those of GCIC, as both nonprofit organizations are dedicated to similar missions and work with similar methods. A joint cooperation opportunity would be mutually beneficial to both organizations and would greatly help the climate change cause.
