It offers cutting-edge innovators to connect with resources and opportunities to deploy their climate solutions at speed and scale, and to take their impact to the next level.
- GCIC Intellectual
GCIC Intellectual empowers forward-thinking decision makers and organizations (cities, public agencies, companies, educational entities, and NGOs) with a deeper understanding of dynamic climate challenges and equips them with tools and insights to catalyze solutions. Through research, dialogue, advice, and venture, we focus on: Climate, Decarbonization, Energy, Resources, Circular Economy, Sustainable Business, Green Finance, and Cities and Regions Transformation.
- Loss and Damage Solution
GCIC provides financial and in-kind assistance for unavoidable losses and damages from climate impacts that are not being tackled through adaptation and risk reduction strategies alone. We also support innovative solutions to strengthen resilience against climate impacts.

As governments and companies across the globe set policies and plans to address the climate crisis, there is an urgent need to fill those new positions with a workforce that can meet the challenge.
Next Generation
- Global Climate Young Leader
This program recruits and cultivates exceptional and potential youth (15-24) and helps to prepare them for leadership roles in the climate world. We offered these future leaders¡¯ special recognition, opportunities for direct dialogue with distinguished leaders, and a vibrant community of like-minded young leaders. Young Leaders stay connected with each other and with GCIC in various ways, while potentially working with GCIC Intellectual on projects advancing climate actions and solutions.
- Global Climate Innovator Competition/ Challenge
This competition is designed to recognize and empower emerging changemakers around the world, who are creating innovative climate actions and solutions towards a sustainable future. Open to organizations led by people aged 18 to 30 years old from around the world. Winners receive seed capital towards advancing their work and opportunities to showcase at GCIC summit.
Education
- Climate Changemaker Workshop
GCIC cooperates with United Nations agencies, NGOs and enterprises in the field of sustainable development, focusing on countries and projects that are affected by climate change or that play an important role in addressing climate change. The target audience of the workshop is mainly high school and college students. The workshop combines online systematic learning and field research. Participants will have the opportunity to visit and investigate ecological projects, high-tech enterprises and other related institutions according to distinct research topics. At last, research papers and other results will be yielded under the guidance of the GCIC tutor.
- Public Education
Education is the key to promoting sustainable development. GCIC holds a series of online and offline activities to provide an international perspective of climate change to the public. Through interdisciplinary and cross-cultural exchanges, GCIC raises public awareness and consensus of environmental protection, and encourages the public to participate in climate action from multiple dimensions. At the same time, GCIC also provides guidance and support for those who are interested in the field of sustainable development and ESG.
